The Kenny Family Foundation unites philanthropy and the power of partnerships to create greater equity and opportunity in New Castle County, Delaware. Our emphasis on promoting social welfare, providing assistance to our neighbors in need and contributing to humanitarian endeavors is carried out through the support we provide to our community’s non-profit organizations.
Our Story
The Kenny Family Foundation, otherwise known as “KFF”, was formed as a charitable organization in 2008 by the Kenny Family and community members because they saw a need in New Castle County for organizations to be empowered, and recognized an opportunity to provide active assistance as partners.
We support over 1,000 charitable organizations in New Castle County with microgrants and partnerships. These organizations feed hungry neighbors, care for the elderly, educate children, and enrich lives through the arts and humanities. The partnerships with these organizations are the heart and soul of our foundation. Like other foundations, we provide grants; but as a community partner, we fulfill many roles making with an active presence.
We also review and coordinate the donation requests that are sent to the ShopRite stores

A vibrant and dynamic philanthropic engine, The Kenny Family Foundation has granted out, on average, $250,000 annually since our inception.
